  • 2 tbsp Cornflour
  • 2 tbsp All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Ginger Paste
  • 1 tbsp Soya Sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Egg
  • 300-gram Prawns
  • 1 tbsp cornflour and 1 tbsp water (Cornflour slurry)
  • For Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 2 tbsp Minced garlic
  • 1/2 tbsp Minced ginger
  • 2 Spring onions, sliced
  • 3-4 Green Chillies (Slit)
  • 1 Capsicum (Chopped)
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Soya Sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp Chilli sauce
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1/4 tsp Vinegar


  • Add cornflour in a bowl and add all-purpose flour, garlic paste, ginger paste, dark soy sauce, and black pepper powder.
  • Now, crack an egg into the mix and whisk it without leaving any lumps.
  • Add deveined prawns to the bowl and mix it nicely.
  • Add these prawns to the hot oil pan and let them fry on each side until they achieve a golden, crispy perfection. Once fried, set them aside on a plate.
  • Mix cornflour with water to create a slurry. 
  • Add sliced spring onions and slit green chillies to the pan and mix it until the raw smell disappears.
  • Now, turn up the flame and add chopped capsicum, black pepper powder, dark soy sauce, and chilli sauce. Give it a good mix.
  • First, pour water into the pan and add the slurry and fried prawns.
  • Mix it and coat the prawns with the sauce.
  • Add a dash of salt and vinegar to taste, then give it a final mix.
